Please sponsor our ride in support of HoldYou Foundation's "Fly for Families" Cycling Fundraiser! We're riding with the HoldYou Team to raise critical funds for families who are struggling with financial hardship as a result of their child's diagnosis with a life-threatening illness. HoldYou steps in to provide immediate support to families who are facing work disruption, increased expenses and decreased income while their children are in treatment. HoldYou lifts families financial burdens by ensuring their urgent basic needs are met, so they can focus on what matters most -- holding and healing-- their child. Together, we can help families like Ethan's.

Ethan's Story

"On March 10, 2017, our lives changed forever; we heard the words "Stage 3 Wilms Tumor on his right kidney." My son, Ethan, was 2 1/2 years old at that time and I could not believe this was happening to him. I had been at my job for less than a year and so had my fiance. We were so distraught with the news and didn't know how to move forward. We made the decision that I would stay home with Ethan to care for him on an unpaid leave for 6 months, which turned into 10 months. On June 1, 2017, due to the chemotherapy, his left kidney failed. Ethan began receiving hemodialysis three times per week. Then, on August 28, 2017, he was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and his hemodialysis was increased to four times per week. Countless hospital stays, several surgeries (10 total), co-pays and one income caused financial strain for our family. I am thankful to HoldYou Foundation for their contribution and the difference it made in our lives." -- Ethan's Mom
